Last year at Next Act, Mr. Morgan directed THE EXONERATED, SUMMER STORIES, and also SUCCESS, which performed here after touring India through the U.S. State Department.  Some of his other shows for Next Act have included FAITH HEALER, MARY’S WEDDING, WINTER TALES and LAST OF THE BOYS.  Mr. Morgan’s most recent directing includes TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD at Utah Shakespeare Festival and DICEN LAS PAREDES in San Jose, Costa Rica, where he was also teaching at the Universidad Nacional.  Mr. Morgan has worked at Virginia Stage Company, Merrimack Rep, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Round House Theatre, Studio Theatre, the Kennedy Center, Rep Theatre of St. Louis, Clarence Brown Theatre and various others, as well as universities in the USA and abroad.  A RISING WIND, co-written with John Kishline, was performed last summer at Kohler Arts Center and taped for Milwaukee Public TV last fall.  Mr. Morgan was formerly Associate Artistic Director at Milwaukee Rep, where he directed numerous productions, among them A DELICATE BALANCE, THE SHAUGHRAUN, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE, NIXON’S NIXON, THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE, SOUNDING THE RIVER, APPALACHIAN VOICES, and A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN.  Mr. Morgan and his work have been honored with Washington’s Helen Hayes Awards and nominations and also by the Drama League of NY.  He is a Casting Partner for Cirque du Soleil and on the roster of Fulbright Senior Specialists.  His website is www.Edward-Morgan.com.
