Auditions
Next Act holds general auditions for actors each year, in cooperation with many other professional Wisconsin theatre companies. These auditions usually take place in early February; a specific date is chosen in December. Sign-up by telephone begins shortly after January 1st. Specific information about these auditions will be posted in Skynet, the electronic newsletter of the Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee, and also in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Next Act casts its shows from these auditions, and by callbacks and readings with each show's director.
